Funny girl Lena Duhnam made quite a splash last night at the 2012 Glamour Women of the Year Awards ceremony at Carnegie Hall. Dressed in Kate Middleton favorite, Roksanda Ilincic, the filmmaker and actress walked onto the stage in her metallic Brian Atwood pumps to accept her award.
Halfway through her speech however, Lena took off her shoes due to discomfort to finish her speech. The spunky 26-year old film maker has received much success with her hit show Girls and before its second season debut, a third season has just been ordered. Today, it was announced that Dunham has also received a book deal for $3.7 million dollars. Not too shabby for a down to earth gal from New York City.
