Alexander McQueen’s presence has been missed in the fashion industry since his suicide last year but his label carries on, strongly, under the helm of friend and colleague Sarah Burton (who also designed the Catherine Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding gown for her April 29, 2011 nuptials to Prince William.)  Sarah has McQueen’s vision at heart and has kept his avant garde yet sophisticated and cutting edge aesthetic alive.

Barton is paying tribute to Lee Alexander McQueen this year with a limited edition collection of scarves cleverly titled God Save McQueen. The collection contains McQueen’s skill motifs as well as exceptional illustrations in both vibrant and muted colors.  The video that accompanies the God Save McQueen scarf collection is simply breathtaking.
