For many year's Talbots womenswear was that one store in the mall that my mom and her friends frequented to update their wardrobes.  I often skipped out to go to Nordstrom or Abercrombie while my mom shopped at Talbots.  The store wasn't on my radar for chic pieces for a twenty something woman.  Fast forward to Fall 2010. Talbots is definitely on my radar and that of many twenty something women who want classic, sophisticated clothes that are of-the-moment and affordable.  
Talbots has reinvented itself into a youthful brand, offering flattering and affordable styles that, in our opinion, are on par with Banana republic and LL Bean Signature.  The womenswear brand has nabbed supermodel Linda Evangelista as the face of the brand for Fall 2010.  The noteworthy collection offers flattering clothing for petites, misses and women, with most of the styles being offered in sizes up to 24W. The Talbots woman has been redefined and though there have been some ladies who think the brand is getting too trendy, a majority of professional women won't be so hesitant to admit they shop at Talbots.
