Gucci is celebrating 90 wonderful years as one of Italy’s reining fashion houses this year.  There have been lots of soirees in the brand’s honor in the past few months as well as limited edition collections so fans can get involved in the celebration.  None of these rare items are as buzz worthy as the new Gucci Fiat 500, which is currently available for pre-order.

Gucci creative director Frida Gianini says that “Gucci’s history has always been about traveling in style so when this collaboration came up, it struck me as the perfect opportunity to create a new modern travel statement.”  The 500 by Gucci has all the standard bells and whistles and some extra luxury touches that truly make it Gucci.  For starters, the iconic green and red Gucci stripe adorn the exterior of the car as well as the the seats, gearshift, carpet, and seatbelt. The hubcaps of the car has the interlocking GGs; and completing the Gucci car is the signature cursive Gucci on the hatchback and doorposts.

You can be one of a limited number of car and fashion aficionados to drive the limited edition 500 by Gucci, which comes in a jet black or a pristine white, by getting on the wait list through June 30th at 500byGucci.com.
